What is the Construction/Tech Design SHSM Program?

The Construction/Tech Design Specialist High Skills Major is an innovative, integrated Architectural Design and Building Construction program that allows the student to progress through the construction process from the design and drawing stage, to the actual construction of a variety of structures.

What can I do to prepare?

  • Plan accordingly: take the Grade 9 and Grade 10 courses that will lead into this SHSM.

When can I get started?

  • This is a limited enrollment.
  • Apply in your Grade 10 year.
  • To register, log onto onsorts.ca using your OEN number and birth date. OEN numbers can be found on report cards, student cards, credit counselling summaries.
